Terminologies

• Current - a flow of electric charge. (ampere, A)
• Voltage - Voltage is the potential energy that makes the electrical current flow in a circuit by pushing the electrons around. (volt, V)
• Resistance - the hindrance to the flow of charge. (ohm, Ω)
• Loop -    any closed path in a circuit.
• Node -   a point where two or more circuit element connect.
• Branch - a portion of the circuit that consists of one circuit element and its two terminal nodes.
